It’s 10 p.m. on a Friday night. Do you know where the AJUers are?

Monday morning through Friday afternoon, you might see 30 people walking around campus – some classmates and some  neighbors. But when the weekend hits, AJU turns into a ghost town. Where does everyone go?

The Casiano Chronicle spoke to a few students to get an idea. And it does seem like a lot of students leave the campus when Friday comes.

Adina Weinberg said, “Over the weekend I chill with friends. Sometimes I go to UCLA or to visit my family.”

“I go to UCLA to hang out at AEPi on the weekends, go to the club, and spend time doing homework in my dorm room,” commented Elijiah Butow.” There’s not much to do around AJU so I go have my fun elsewhere” Read more »

Many students living on campus argue that once the week transitions into the weekend they are left stranded on Mulholland with a lack of activities. But do not fear! There is a free and fun local scene to be discovered! Museums, bars, live music and restaurants that are either free or offer student discounts all lie within a 15-mile radius of AJU.
