Playing in the dirt has become a growing trend among American universities.

Many colleges have established student-operated organic gardens onto their campuses. On the list of schools who have already implemented this garden program are UCLA, Berkeley and Princeton. And it looks as if this semester will bring AJU into their company. Ashley Wolf, this year’s ASAJU treasurer, is trying to make the long-discussed garden a reality. Read more »

New Year’s Resolution: Stay Safe

On June 3, 2011, Indiana University student Lauren Spierer went missing. Since then, her parents have been in Indiana actively searching for answers and consulting detectives. This past Thursday, the Spierers appeared at the on campus concert, “Shine for Lauren”, to ask for help and to educate students on safety. Lauren’s disappearance is alarming.  Unfortunately, she is not the only victim in the news. Read more »

There is a free and fun local scene to be discovered! Museums, bars, live music and restaurants that are either free or offer student discounts all lie within a 15-mile radius of AJU.
