Who Are the Facebook Fakers?

Who are Aaliyah Julia and Alyssa Cockrell? They have Facebook friended many at AJU, yet no one at this small school seems to know who they are.

Alyssa Cockrell’s Facebook profile has vanished as of February 17th; however at one point the profile with the picture of a masked girl was up to 60 friends, more than 50 of whom are connected with AJU. As of January 24th, Aaliyah Julia has 18 friends, all of whom are current or former AJU students.

Gadget Girl on the iPhone 4

This semester, Shana Weitzen, the “Gadget Girl,” will investigate important issues in consumer technology.

Lots of changes are coming to the iPhone, Apple’s hugely popular (and cool) device.

First, Verizon now has iPhone 4, ending AT&T’s monopoly.

Second, the iPhone 4 offers people the ability to have “FaceTime,” meaning they can Skype on their phone. Apple also created an application for both Mac and PC so that non-iPhone 4 users can see the person they are calling. Read more »

The Devil's Throat

The Devil’s Throat rises eighty-two meters and extends one hundred fifty meters across.

Imagine a world where you see every color of the rainbow splashed over every surface. Iguazu National Park, located in both Argentina and Brazil, is that place. The gorgeous park lies between the Argentine town of Misiones and the Brazilian town of Parana. The 120,00-acre park is about one-third the size of Los Angeles.
